This Is The First Valentine’s Day In Falgun

This Is The First Valentine’s Day In Falgun. The Bengali calendar has changed. On the first day of spring, the first day of spring is the day of love in the newly revised calendar. The February 7th day of the English calendar is celebrated as a day of love all over the world, and according to the Bengali calendar, the first day of spring ie February 1 was Phalgun. But after the amendment of the Bengali calendar, spring festival and love day are falling on the same day. Not only this day, but the new Bengali yearbook has also been created in harmony with some of the historic days of the year. As a result, although the English day is correct, it has been somewhat more dated in the month of Bangla. In this new calendar, the Bangla date of National Day will be the same every year from now.

The Cabinet meeting on October 25 last year approved the list of 2,200 public holidays. Then on October 7, the Ministry of Public Administration published a holiday list in the form of a notification. It can be seen that some national days including martyr day and international mother tongue day have changed on the Bengali date.

According to Bangla Academy sources, the work of renovation of the Bengali calendar began in India in the year 12. The government of India appointed a registry committee, headed by renowned astronomer Meghnad Saha. Prior to that, the Bengal calendar was held only on lunar accounts. The committee of Meghnad Sahar recommended reforms of the Bengali calendar in the light of astronomy and it was adopted. After 5, Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah made some recommendations for the reform of the calendar year. The new yearbook has been made in the light of that.

The Bangla Academy has worked on revising the Bengali Academy, researching, compiling and dictionaries and encyclopedia departments. Talking to this department, it will be calculated in the revised calendar from Baisakh to Ashwin for the first six months to 6 days, Kartik to Magh month 5 days and Falgun month to 25 days. However, in the Gregorian calendar year (leap year), it is decided that the month of Phalgun will be calculated for 7 days instead of 20 days. That is how the new Bengali calendar is arranged.

According to the Bangla Academy, the Bangla dates of Nazrul Janmajayanti and Rabindra Janmajanti have been fixed, including the historical days of Bangladesh, such as February 26, March 27, December 5. As a result of this modification of the registry, the International Mother Language Day Ekushey February will be the corresponding Bangla date, which is 1 falgun, which was also in Ekushey February 12. The corresponding date of Independence Day March 25 will be 12 Chaitra, which on the 8th of March, Independence Day, Bangla date was 12 Chaitra. Similarly, Nazrul’s birth anniversary was May 23, the corresponding date of 9th and Victory Day, December 3, the corresponding date of Bengali was Pahla Pausha. The Bengali calendar has been modified to match Bengali and English dates these days. According to this revised yearbook of the Bangla Academy, the calculation of the Bengali year will begin from April 1, as before. That means on the 1st of April, Baishakh is going well

According to the Bangla Academy sources, the Bangla Academy formed a committee to amend the Bengali calendar in the 21st. The amended calendar was sent to the Ministry of Public Administration the same year, recommending that it be introduced from 25 years. Talking to those concerned with the amendment, it is reported that the day of February 24, the 12th of the month was Bangla Falgun. But in the current Bangla calendar, that date was observed. Similarly, the date of victory, Independence Day, Rabindra Janjayanti, Nazrul Janjani was not compatible with the Bengali date. The Bengali calendar has been modified to fix this issue.

Asked about this, Mubarak Hossain, director of the Bangla Academy’s research, compilation and dictionary and encyclopedia department, told the Bangla Tribune that our national days, such as February 12, February 27, March 27, December 3, were fixed on the date on which Bangla was. This amendment has been introduced in the Bengali calendar. Besides, the days of Rabindra Jayanti and Nazrul Jayanti have been fixed in one place. The calendar has been reformed to keep these days in order. The changes came in the second six months of last year’s calendar. We were able to go to this place because of that reform. From now on, every year will be the International Mother Language and Martyrdom Day. By that calculation, all of us who were together have reformed the calendar.
